For the last Event `Ride the Stairway´, Sponsoree Florian Konietzko sent us, his personal account, which we want to share with you:

So here is a short response about the last 2 weeks. On Friday 16th February the last leg of the Home Grown Tour 2008 took place in the Munich-Emmering Hall. Due to a fall 2 weeks before at the White Style, I couldn´t practice or do anything. But I pulled myself together and tried to give my best, although I not only had a sore shoulder but was also in bed for 4 days with 40° Fever. When the contest started I was really fit and wanted to do my normal run which I had practiced before my injuries. In the first round I was pretty much out of breath because of the flu I had before, but in the second round everything worked out and in the end I reached 6th place in the Pro Class. With the overall points for the whole Tour, I ended up with a good 8th place.

Yeh and the last weekend I went full out. At first I didn´t want to come because I heard that the Track wasn’t in good condition, and I wanted to save the long trip from Munich to Solingen. I was so close to not going but then I thought why not, I want to have fun and the Track is probably not as bad as they say it is. As I got there a huge Truck full of snow came whizzing past me, then I knew I was in Solingen/Gräfrath, a small cute little Town. On Friday started the practice rounds and I noticed quickly that I could cope well with all the conditions. So on the same day I won the Best Trick and the Spectators Prize, so then I couldn´t wait for the next day where I could give all in the Contest. So 2 first places and one night later, now was the time. I pushed myself further and higher on the Ramp, and the feeling got better and better. With 4 perfect runs, Backflip; Flip Tabletop; Flip no Hand; Supermans Eat Grap; I grabbed the Title and scored a Hat Trick. I was really glad that I came to the Contest.
