From the 3rd until the 6th of October 2007 the worlds best Wild Water Kayakers are meeting in Austria´s Ötztal for a unique challenge: Adidas Sickline – the Extreme Kayak World Championships. On the world renowned Wellerbrücke (Wave Bridge) where the Ötz River is waiting for the challengers with some of the toughest water passages around, the perfect venue to find the worlds best Extreme Kayaker.

The Extreme Kayak World Championships officially starts on Friday the 5th October 2007 with the qualification rounds. Only the best 100 qualified paddlers go to the next round. The top 50 Wild Water Kayakers then meet against each other on Saturday the 6th October in the final round. Throughout the World Championship race the organisers Bernhard Mauracher and Olaf Obsommer have planned a full exciting program with workshops, Movie Nights and Party´s, that will make both Kayak Pro´s and enthusiasts equally amazed.
